Situated on the New Golden Mile, which occupies the coastal area between Estepona and Marbella, Ágora overlooks the surrounding green hills down to the nearby sea. It is one of the most up-and-coming residential areas in the Marbella region, with the amenities of the La Resina golf course and clubhouse within walking distance as well as open nature and walking trails right on your doorstep.
The views at Ágora take in these green, undulating surroundings all the way to the mountain ranges that help create the unique climate of the Costa del Sol. The main focus, however, is in a southerly direction, to the coastline that stretches out towards the unmistakable outlines of Gibraltar and North Africa.
The beach is just five kilometres away from here, a continuum of sandy beaches dotted with fish restaurants, ‘chiringuito’ beach bars and lined along much of the shoreline with a coastal pathway just made for those who wish to take in the stunning scenery as they stroll, jog, walk the dog, cycle or rollerblade.
With its wonderful climate, the Costa del Sol offers year-round outdoor activities such as golf, tennis, padel tennis and sailing, among others, but it is also very exercise focused, with many fitness and yoga groups taking to peaceful stretches of beach that provide just the right setting. Nearby Laguna Village is an elegant beachside centre with restaurants and the Puro Beach club right upon the sand.
NATURE, CULTURE AND ENTERTAINMENT.
Those familiar with the Costa del Sol will know that it is home to the finest collection of golf courses anywhere in Europe, with the Tuscan-like parkland landscape of the Los Flamingos golf course surrounding the exquisite Villa Padierna Palace Hotel and Spa. Also renowned for its five-star deluxe amenities and fine dining options is the Kempinski Resort Hotel.
The immediate area surrounding Ágora also features a good choice of racquet clubs and entertainment options, including the outstanding Selwo Aventura safari park and the cultural appeal of nearby Estepona, whose pretty town centre, restaurants, cafés and tapas bars add to the medical, educational and shopping facilities all within easy range. Taken together, it adds up to a quality of life that is unique in Europe.
